The Grand Blanc Athletic Foundation recognizes the work of boosters and independent team fundraising efforts. With no desire to undercut those valuable efforts, the Foundation organizers saw a need for larger-scale possibilities to be realized with an umbrella 501 (c)3 that will benefit all Grand Blanc High School student-athletes. We work in tandem with the GBHS Athletic Department to help support on-going athletic facility needs. The GBAF also supports the GBHS graduating student-athlete future by awarding annually two $2,500 student-athlete scholarships.

Grand blanc high school LEGACY BRICKS PLAZA

The GBAF began the Legacy Brick project to help raise funds to support our on-going support of GBHS Athletic facility needs and the two GBAF Annual Student-Athlete Scholarships. Through the support of GBHS Alumni and the Grand Blanc Community, the first phase is underway. The plaza is at the Don Batchelor Football Stadium next to the home bleachers. Grand blanc high school THERMAL THERAPY UNITS

The GBAF approved to fund in full the procurement of two
ThemX Thermal Therapy units along with accessory hook-ups
and travel cases. These units will benefit and have immediate
impact on the student-athletes recovery from injury. These
units are available for all GBHS student-athletes through the
athletic department and athletic trainer. The GBAF is pleased
that we could fund this need for our GBHS student-athletes.

Grand blanc high school VARSITY POM TEAM

Through a formal written request and approval between the GBHS Athletic Office and the Grand Blanc Athletic Foundation funding was provided to the GBHS Varsity Pom team to purchase portable mirrors for team practices and competition preparations.

Grand blanc high school west gym

Turf GBHS's West Campus gymnasium, providing much-needed winter and inclement weather training location for teams/groups including: softball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, cheer, dance, band, physical education classes, and more.

FUTURE ATHLETIC PROJECTS UNDER CONSIDERATION:

Working together with the GBHS Athletic Office, and/or the community the following projects/fundraising efforts are either in the works or under consideration in which the Grand Blanc Athletic Foundation can lend support, funding, promotion, or raise funds to continue to support GBHS student-athletes:

• Varsity Softball Clubhouse construction
